Will i get to take home any pictures??
Ultrasound doesn't hurt at all! And my eyes were glued to the screen as she pointed everything out to us so I wasn't even focused on it. Good luck!
The verbally asked me and they filled out all the paper work so I would be prepared either way. And yeah its interesting for the first ultrasound because they asked if I was allergic to certain condoms.
I herd they do the ultra sound internally Yikesss hows that feel that makes me a little nervous
I doubt they will flat out ask you if you have any STDs. The paperwork you fill out will ask if you have had certain ones or if you currently have one to your knowledge. It is to help protect the baby. Also they test your urine and blood for everything under the sun. At my first appointment I just had my fiance wait in the waiting room until it was time for the sonogram portion because it would be uncomfortable for him to be in there during my pelvic exam. Also an FYI- at 8 weeks they use a wand to do your ultrasound internally, it's not the exterior kind you see generally think of.Caught me (and him) a little off guard :) Just remember as soon as the two of you see the baby & hear heartbeat you forget about everything else!
They usually give u a form you fill out that asks you those type of questions. Your std history won't be brought up unless you still have something or you had it within the year you got pregnant. Usually. If they ask in front of fiance, tell the truth & simply state u were 16. & if fiance trips about it tell him an ex bf cheated on u & gave u a std that u immediately got treatment for & it was cured. Don't feel ashamed, everyone has skeletons in thier closets
Went to my appointment yesterday and they did ask that
at my first app, they didn't ask me verbally, but that question was included in all the paper work I had to fill out
They will ask because they need to know for your safety n the baby's
just ask him to wait outside while they ask personal information
Same exact situation here, I'm also 7w+1& ihave my first apr in the 8th but before when I first founded out I was pregnant, my doctor also told me I had bacterial vaginosis (spell check) I wad scared to tell my fiance, because I didn't want him to judge me or anything or think I was nasty, but I knew I had to tell him. This is the man im starting a family with and I'm going to be with him the rest of my life, so I don't want to keep secrets from him. I want to be able to tell him anything. I think you should tell your fiance before you go, although I doubt they ask you that. Just to get it off your mind. He should understand.
Yea they ask you that. I was asked that last week at my first appointment. It may be embarrassing but they have to know
I don't think they ask you that question. They will give you a lot of tests for infections and HIV. And you can always call ahead of time and let them know that you don't want that question to be asked of you. I don't think they ask that though. I don't remember them asking me
