I smoked about 5-7 cigarettes a day while pregnant with my daughter. She was born early, at 33 weeks and basically her entire first yr of life was sick...mostly ear infections. Shes 4 now & average size of a six yr old & never gets sick anymore. My hubby & i do not smoke in the house  or around her at all so thats prob y  shes so healthy now. I smoked at the beginninng of this pregnancy & finally quit about 10weeks ago. My dr told me if i couldnt quit to only allow myself 5 or less a day. He said the chances are much  better for  baby

No pregnant women should ever smoke while pregnant. Your harming your baby before it even has a chance at a healthy life. Every time i see a pregnant person smoking everyone around them including myself is looking at them with pure disgust. If you cant handle quiting smoking then don't get pregnant. Simple.

My bfs ex smoked through her pregnancy and their little guy has asthma, and lung problems, he is always sick, almost constantly..not sure if this has to do with her smoking but I also know people who smoked and their kids are perfectly fine..some things just happen no matter what you do or don't do ..I haven't smoked for over a year but if I still did i think I would quit just to lessen the risks..to each their own
