I quit cold.turkey once I found out I was pregnant and I was like 6 weeks or 7 weeks when I found out and my lil one is fine as long as you quit
@haleyblossom its really not that easy it isn't called a addiction for no reason every pregnancy is different some women get completely turned off by cigarettes when there pregnant others stress and feel they need a cigarette its just like any other bad habit it requires strength and motivation if you know that your pregnant and ur supposed to be eating healthy but u just can't help but eat that tuna hoagie or that chocolate cake then you know what I mean same rules still apply whats bad is bad and just cause u know the facts won't mean your gonna just stop doing what your doing

You're so early on so I don't believe any damage has been done
Google how smoking effects your baby. One was it increases the risk of sids (sudden infant death syndrome). That alone should be enough for someone to quit but a lot of moms turn a blind eye to the negative side effects. Best of luck quitting! !!
Good luck! It took me about a week to stop. But when ever i would smoke i would get sick so that helped. Now i cant stand anyone smelling like smoke.
