so confused about ovulation!

I took a ovulation test yesterday and had a faint line. We have been BDing every other day and did yesterday. Am i still able to get pregnant today? Should we keep trying? This is all so new for me!

the ovulation sticks show your LH surge right before ovulation - usually 12-36 hrs before.  The line needs to be as dark or darker than the test line for a positive reading.  It sounds like you had sex on your most likely days since you had your period on the 2 or 3rd of June.  If you have a normal 28 day cycle you should ovulate anywhere from 12-14 days after the start of your period.  Everyone is different as far as ovulation, I have a 27 to 28 day cycle and sometimes ovulate on day 12 or 14 - it varys from month to month so keep using the sticks until you see the dark line.  Good luck.

hmm.. OK. So.. if my last period was on the 2nd or 3rd of June and we BD on the 13th,15th,17th and 19th What is the likely hood that i was able to get in that window of ovulation?

I believe the way the ovulation tests work, is that the line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. It then means that you will ovulate in the next 12-24 hours. Or it might be 24-48 hours. (I've never used em, and am slightly sketchy on the details) Generally if you have a regular cycle, you can take and count back 14 days BEFORE your next period. This is usually when you will ovulate. Not after your last period, like the common misconception is. This is because you ovulate before you ever have a menstrual cycle.

I do hope that others who have used them and know them better will also respond and if I'm wrong correct me as well. Good luck TTC!!!
