I wake up sleeping on my back alot. But I wake up cuz eventually sleeping on my back gets uncomfortable in a weird way. Like everything in there is crushing my spine lol I fall asleep in my side with a pillow between my knees but the pillow never stays in place because I toss and turn all night. I think being pregnant I am just doomed to sleep uncomfortably for the next 12 weeks. Lol

I'm mostly comfortable on my back and everyone tells me not to sleep like that. I've been sleeping on my sides most of the night but at some point I have to go on my back and I get scared something is going to happen

Im almost 36 weeks and sleep on my back all the time. My daughter is perfectly fine. They say if it's uncomfortable then you shouldn't but as long as your comfortable you should be fine.

Yes. You should sleep on your side instead of your back at this point - sleeping on your back can decrease blood flow to the placenta and deprive the fetus of nutrients and oxygenated blood. Try positioning with pillows, a rolled up towel between your knees, anything that will get you into a comfy spot to sleep. Good luck.
