I know if i drink soda my baby would be giving me a kicking fit in my belly. Im guessing kiddo doesnt like the gas.lol

My Dr told me that if your in your second trimester it really doesn't matter.I dont drink pip but I'm a tea drinker. I drink like 3 smaller cups of tea a day with food. But I drink mostly juice and water!

Tbh I haven't stop drinking soda as long as baby is healthy and so are you I think that's all that matter I didn't even change my eating habits either and I don't think that makes you a bad parent at all as long as it's with moderation

I'd be way more worried about the high-fructose corn syrup in the non-diet sodas and all the chemicals in the diet sodas.

I don't think it is the acid or carbonation that is of concerns to drs. but as lauren above states, it's more about the caffeine.  That is what they try to limit.  And I know that I was told not to drink diet pop due to the chemicals in it (artificial sweeteners).  I was given a guideline of 2 sodas a day w caffeine but decaf didn't matter.  good luck

I would talk to your doctor. Mine told me to try to cut out caffeine as much as possible
