Question after delivery?

i had my baby boy Saturday afternoon I'm not planning on breastfeeding but I did know that my breast well still swell up and get super hard what can j do to reduce the pain and let my body know to not keep  reproducing milk ?

It'll just dry out eventually if you're not pumping or stimulating your breast no milk will come out. Warm water helps for the swelling and pain. But I do highly recommend breastfeeding it's so much better for your baby. I only did one month and then did formula and my baby ended up in the hoapital 7 days, he had constipation and a lot of diarreah his tummy couldn't digest the milk, too delicate. Not saying it will happen to u, but consider doing it for at least 3 months

Express enough in the shower to soften them and relieve the pain. You don't want to get mastitis! Put cold cabbage leaves in your bra too. That'll help dry them up.
