baby momma drama

Ok, I have to vent.  My husband has a 6 year old son and we are expecting a boy (im 37 w today).  His ex messaged me wanting saying she was turning him in for not paying his child support. I have paid every month and even extra because he is a little behind.  Funny thing is... The child doesnt even live with his mom.  He lives with his grandparents.  And several times they have called needing money for clothes (which we have gladly sent).  We live in Alabama, they all live in ohio. So we don't see them very much.  It's an 8 hour drive.  Anyways, I mentioned that we were talking to a lawyer because she had changed her number and we couldn't contact her about my husbands son.  He is going for at least court ordered extended visits since we live so far away.  That way he can see him in the summers and school breaks. she freaked out and called the grandparents and told them we were taking away her son.  And she told me they were going to move and he would never see his son again. It just really ticked me off she had to message ME trying to stir stuff up. But I think I got under her skin while I kept my cool. Yep, see you in court b*tch!

I worked with a lady whose step daughter lived in Cali so they sent child support but the girl wanted to live with her dad and even tho she moved to tx with her dad they STILL had to send the mom money in Cali!!! So the dad said I'm sorry baby but the money to take care of u is in Cali with ur mom I can't afford to support u here and send ur mom all this child support. So she had to move back with her mom because the court refused to reverse the child support. Crazy sh*t

Oh, I am not even worried about her reporting my husband because we have done everything right. It is just disturbing she would even start sh*t like that.  She is just jealous.  She kept saying that after we have the new baby, my husband was just goingto forget about their son.  Impossible! I know none of you ladies would forget a child!  She just wants to start drama.  at first I was upset, but I know we are doing everything right.
And @ bree, that is what his lawyer said.  Even if the child isn't staying with her.  The grandparents cannot legally collect the child support.  And who knows whag she could say in court, she could lie and say he is living with her even though he isn't.

I go thru the same exact thing with my boyfriends ex.. now that we are exxpecting she wants to start in war. i am not sure if the courts are different but here in pennsylvania she can threaten all she wants but if she does anything u will hear from the court. i honestly would not even acknowledge her without going thru the courts. you are doing the right thing by documenting but unfortunately courts rule in favor of the mother most of the time. my dad hired a private investigator to prove his ex wife was unfit.. they had proof she had strange men in the house and that she was doing drugs and it did nothing. if your husband has no money or job how do they expect him to pay? i wouldnt worry about her.. if she is going to report him she would have done it already. be happy for your new baby and only deal. with that bitchh when u see her in court

I had my own little vent on your post with what was bothering me lol.   But they have to prove she's unfit? They can't just show the court that she doesn't live with her kids? It doesn't seem right for her to receive any money if she doesn't live with them

She lives on welfare, so I am shocked that she even gets the money we send.  And she gets ALL of it.  Yes, I have saved copies of texts and messages.  I have documented everything.  His lawyer says that the grandparents would have to take her to court and prove she is unfit (which is hard to do) even though the child is living with them.

Girl I feel you on that, my husbands ex is for lack of a better word. Psychotic, at least your step son dosent have to hear from his own mother, Your father dosent love you anymore, he has another family. Mind you this woman cheated on him when he got back from Iraq and with his brother in_law!!! And she still has the nerve to say he is the bad father!! Some people are miserable and want to make others just as miserable as them. I feel like I want to give up sometimes!!! Shes nuts!! And talks bad about everyone, but turns around and becomes a fake religious lunatic.

@kepier.....Im sure if you guys have proof of that and proof of him living with his grandparents and not her then it may get resolved in court to where she doesn't receive **** unless she proves she is the sole provider.

Yeah, its rough and can get so out of had when children were involved. And it truly effects the kids. My sons father is a POS but he is getting an opportunity to be in his sons life, as much as I would rather him not, he gets the chance. Now knowing him he wont be around at all because of his selfishness but I will be getting support from him because it takes two to make em, and he played the part until we split up and now he doesn't care. I would love my son to have his father, but chances are, he will end up looking up to another make figure in his life.

The grandparents know she is getting money for child support and have asked her to help and she refuses.  Last time she offered to give then $30 for clothes... What is that gonna buy?!?!?  So, we are constantly having to send extra money to support him.  It's very frustrating.

Someone posted the other day how some women have a baby and the father objects and doesnt want the child.  Yet they are obligated and forced to pay child support.  Here is a father who wants to be in his child's life, gladly pays for whatever his son needs, and he is prevented from seeing his son.  It is very sad.  Children need their fathers.  Even if me and my husband werent together, I would not keep him from seeing this child!!!!

@ Bree....she should win mother of the year award. I cant stand when people use child support money for NOT the children. Paying rent and utilities is one things because it clearly benefits the child, but hair getting done, new hand bags, nails done, and other nonsense like you mentioned is absurd! I know of plenty of women do this....or should I say, girls.

That's how my cousin is, sad to say... She hashas two kids, two different babies daddys, demands child support and taxes, yet her 60yr old mom takes care of both her kids, takes them to and from school while the ***** sleeps in, makes their meals. while she spends all her child support money on weed cigarettes and alcohol, the chick goes out and buys the drinks every night, no joke. She's lame
