nursery ideas?

We find out Tuesday if we are having a boy or girl. I have not even thought about nursery ideas (colors, etc). What are some things you ladies are doing?

Our first nursery for our baby girl was a green color on the walls with neutral carpet and pink and purple accents. Our toddler & baby girl room was then pink with a cloud white stripe to a light green. Our big girls now sleep in a simple clean cut grey room with bright pink bedding. Our first baby boy room was light blue with a brown stripe around the room. He passed away. I whitewashed the room after we put his things away. Baby boy on board has a light blue room with an accent wall of dark brown, light brown, blue, and light blue squares with white seperating them. A bit of a memory from our first tied in by leaving the white.

Wow, all these ideas are so great! Seems to be a lot with green & yellow. I cant wait to decide and start everything. I like all these ideas. My husband is army so I joked about blue camo for boy or pink for girl, lol

I got her room painted before I knew if she was a boy or girl, a really light seafoam green that I loved. Then when I found out the gender I started to accessorize with pastel pink and lavender, with a little silver tossed in. It's sort of a baby animal theme, so all her little stuffed animals fit right in. :)

I'm having a girl, but since I despise the color pink, I'm doing her nursery in brown and sage green :)

We are having a boy....from day one we decided (before we even found out what we were having) on super Mario brothers theme! Its done in all primary colors red, blue, and yellow with accent of black, white, and hint of green for Luigi! We decided on this because it could go for a girl or boy (if it was a girl we would add in princess peach!) Plus as he grows up he can still use the theme as a 5 year old! I can't wait to put the entire nursery together. (Currently moving o another state so its on hold)

We're having a boy and I've done nautical colours, navy, red, pale blue and white. The colours were inspired by a soft owl toy I picked up when we first found out what we were having!

I let the nursery evolve after my daughter was born...her name is lillian...aka lilly which then turned into lilly-bug aka buggie...so i did her room in ladybugs since shes my little lilly-bug...so just paint it a neutral color and let it evolve...i painted hers "cloudy day"...its a really light pale blue...very soothing... :)

We're having a boy and are doing a jungle theme as well. Animal prints, browns, burgundy, and green for the walls. I want to put a tree on the wall with maybe a monkey hanging from it. (:

For my daughters room I went with a French theme with an animal motif on the bumper and bedskirt. Everything else was pink, cream and gray stripes. We did a tree behind the crib and made 3d butterflies for the wall. There are pictures in my album of the room. Now if I ever have a boy I plan to do a nautical theme. Canvas curtains with rope haphazardly tying them to the rod (think tarzanish), sailboats in jars, etc.

We're doing an owl theme for our little girl. I just love the teals and browns in some of the prints, and she'll be a fall baby, so it fits. We were going to do owls whether she was a boy or girl, so thankfully it can really go either way.
