I just had my baby six days ago. I was induced because she was late but have to say I had an amazing delivery. I was only a cm when i got to the hospital so I was given cervidox( not sure that's the right spelling). It takes up to twelve hours to work. When they checked I was 4 cm dilated, 70 percent effaced and baby was 2+. Then they let me shower and eat. Around 7pm they gave me Pitocin and at 2:00 am my water broke. When My doctor checked me and I was 10cm. 3:00 am started pushing and my daughter was born at 3:20. I did get an epidural and it worked amazing for me. When it came to pushing I felt no pain at all and I was able to enjoy my daughters birth. I breastfed her as soon as they cleaned her up. I was really happy with the process. :). U can message me anytime if u want to talk or have any questions. Good luck on ur delivery
My first induction was because my daughter was late. She was due the 11th of Jan and when that came and went, my Dr had me induced in the wee hrs of the 14th. Her delivery was natural even though they gave me an epidural - I felt it ALL because they didnt listen when I said they had to hit me hard the first time due to a fast active liver. I almost broke the rails on the bed lol! My second, a boy, was induced because of pregnancy complications but he was as healthy as an ox! And my third was induced one day before his expected due date because my Dr said it would be fine, but I am second guessing that because he is 2 and still wears 18m clothes. I had all vaginal. This time, however, I'm planning on going as far as my Dr will allow like with my first unless suggested otherwise for health reasons.
