student nurses

I just want to say that I LOVE my midwife she is awesome knows her stuff and always listens and helps with anything!! But I keep getting these student nurses they have all been nice and helpful but up til today she has been there with them and today she sent one in by herself! The nurse was nice and seemed to know exactly what she was doing so I guess I can't complain and my midwife came right in afterwards to address my concerns about still getting sick and no weight gain but I'm getting worried my midwife might not be the one delivering my baby!? I wouldnt care if one helped out I mean everyone has to learn somehow but I haven't seen the same student its been a different one everytime. Should I talk to my midwife about this? Has anyone been in a similar situation and how did/would you handle it?

Having been a student nurse at one time, I can tell you that there is no way they will be delivering your baby (unless you are not in the US...then idk). Our only role in the delivery room was to watch/observe and I gave the baby their shots after birth.

Your midwife will be delivering you I promise=) There would be much too much liability if a student was to even assist in a delivery.
