super cold

All of a sudden I have an extreme cold/flu! I mean it's like I just woke up ill! I have the worst headache, sore throat, stomach ache, and couch. It's awful. I can't remember the last time I was this sick. I'm 16w+2, what is safe to take for a cold? I plan on getting the flu shot asap as well but I need some relief for the meantime.

My mother in law told me I can take Tylenol for children but I've been real iffy about it too considering I have been trying to avoid any type of medication all together. But I will try soup, tea, and a hot shower those sound good thanks and I'll definitely talk to my doctor

1) if you are sick i would wait to get the shot after you get over the cold because your immune system is super low and you could just end up more sick.
2) tylenol cold medicine is safe but when i was sick i was pretty iffy on that
3) i took normal tylenol for the headache, drink lots of ginger honey tea and chicken broth based soups, and warm showers, and relax. These helped me get over a really bad cold in a couple days
