really bad back pain /:

I'm 31 weeks today. I've been having really bad back pain. I was wondering if it's safe to rub "Icee Hot" on my back to help relieve some of the pain?

I've had some bad back pain in the past few days and my OB said icy hot and regular tylenol was okay for us to take. Just make sure you follow the directions.

The pain is in my lower back and right side of my back. It's not a kidney stone though. And thank you, i hope it feel better soon too. I want him out already o_O

I will try using a heating pad.

Thanks for the responses (:

Is the pain in one location such as under your ribs one sided? I ask as I brushed off some back pain to a pulled muscle and pregnancy and it turned out to be a large kidney stone. Ended up getting surgically removed at almost 35 weeks. The pain was very much in one location and excruciating. Hope your back feels better soon!!

I used that earlier in my pregnancy then seen it said to consult your doc if you're pregnant so I told them I was using it but stopped bc I wasn't sure if it was safe. They never confirmed or denied it, so I just switched to an ice pack and heating pad. I wouldn't use it til your doc gave the clear bc I have no clue if whatever sits on your skin can go into your pores, affecting baby or not. I know vicks vapor rub is ok and that sits so it probably has to deal with whatever ingredients used that they'd put that warning on the label.
