swimming with newborns?
How long did u wait to take ur baby swimmen? My midwife advised 3months but that seems so long. It used to be 6weeks. But is that after there first jags? My little boy is 7weeks and gets his jags in couple of days and im dyin to take him bcos he loves his bath so much that i thnk he would love swimmen. So do i wait till hes haf his jags at least and then take him?
That's really good - Logan's started getting a bath every night now, he didn't get opne the nights Lee didn't stay cause I couldn't lift the tub with water in it without my scar pulling. He not far off 2 foot then cause 61cm is 2 foot lol. How did he get on at his 6 week check? Em things are ok, still some good days and bad days, we hada couple fights last week so hoping things are going to improve :o xx
I took mine at 3 mouths just case before the was to cold but i dont know whats the right age to start
Lucas was 12.6 last mon. Hes bn puten on roughly a pound a week lol. Hes a good eater. He was 57cm not sure of inches lol. Hes so heavy. Lucas sleeps right thro wen he has a bath so he has a bath every night to knock him out lol. Hows things with Lee?x
yeah he absolutely loves it, so it'd be worth taking Lucas I reckon. Aw he is getting on great, he will be 9 weeks tomorrow, it's absolutely flown in :/ He is 15lbs 13oz and 25 inches hahaha, big boy :) He almost there with the nights, he goes down about 930,gets up at 430, back in bed before 5 and thats him til between 8-830, then back down from 930 - 1030 so I can't complain :) Hows Lucas x
I rememeberd u sayin u took him swimmen. Lucas loves his bath and i think he would love it. It was th HV tht said 3months. But i want to take him soon. How is Logan getin on? Scary how fast times goes eh? He was 7weeks yest. Is Logan sleepin thro the night and that? Lucas sleeps from 10-6 is great lol x
The NHS site says it doesn't matter when you take them swimming, I asked my HV and she said whenever you want. Wee man is 9w tomorrow and has been swimming twice, and only got his jags on monday. he loves the water, loves the pool :) x
