telling my dad

Im 25 years old and 7 weeks pregnant I'm not married, but I have a good man. I already told my mom, but im not quite sure how to get around to telling my dad. I'm not sure if its because I'm afraid of being judged or what. I have a great respect for my dad and I still see him in the same eyes as I was a kid, and I know he still sees me as his baby girl. I have a really big soft spot for him and im already a sensitive person and these hormones don't help lol. I feel like if I'm about to tell him just straight out then I'll burst out in tears before I get any words out. I was pregnant before but I had a miscarriage, but the day before I miscarried I was gonna tell him, but something stopped me. I guess it was best at that time because I wasn't in a good situation. Please help me! :-)

Yea I'm in the same boat.. i plan on telling my dad the day before Easter cuz I'm telling my whole family on Easter!  I'm really nerves but it'll be allot less stress when its done and over with

Im 23 not married and was terrified to tell my dad he was the last I told before I mad it public I told him at 13 weeks bc I wanted to tell him in person. He guessed before u could finish my sentence and was happy for me. It made it easier. Goodluck and dont worry too much he will be hhappy or he will come around. :)

My dad was the last to know I told him when I was 3 months pregnant.. At first he was upset but it only lasted a min.. Now that I'm 25 weeks he's over joyed.. Btw I'm 24 and not married and I too have a great guy ..

It sounds like you have a loving father, im sure the outcome will be ok. Hes going to love his grandbaby especially if its from his little girl:) so just be optimistic and if you cry thats ok. I cried when i told my mom. And i thought the same thing, but she reacted completely diff, she was excited!! So yeah, hope all goes well!
