True, sadly. friday is the best day for my dad and my MIL to see my daughter, so we're always doing the schedule dance to try to get everyone to see her at least once a week...if they don't, we get a call from either my dad or my husband's mom saying "she's going to forget who i am!!!" lol...but it's not a real problem, we always work it out, but it can get stressful because it means that our weekends are devoted to working around grandparent schedules and there's very little time to relax. my husband works M-F and has classes every afternoon and evening M-Thurs....so the dance is getting a little tiring, lol.
btw I started buying clothes right away (gender-neutral) but bought most of what I got after about 7 1/2 months (after my shower....most of what I got at the baby shower was clothes, I literally did not HAVE to buy anything for my daughter b/c I received so much clothing...so I bought her a couple of nice expensive outfits for pictures instead. I still haven't had to shop for her clothes, b/c my mother-in-law buys her at least 3-5 new outfits a week LOL and she's already shopping for my new boy.
