I know so many people who swear by it. I just did it last week when I was 40 weeks, I did it twice... It didnt work for me but my cervix isnt in the right position nor am i dialating. I honestly hardly got crampy at all it just cleaned me out and of course makes you have a sore bum from going so much lol. But if the baby is ready he or she will come with castor oil but if not then it likely will not work.I am going for a c section this week now.
I totally understand how you're feeling. I tried castor oil at 37 weeks and again at 38+5 because of the aweful pain and discomfort anf my doctor told me baby could come any time, it didn't work for me :(. I'm due tomorrow and will more than likely end up being induced. It has worked for some though and I don't think it will hurt you/baby to try. Just make sure you drink a ton of water and be ready to spend a good amount of time in the bathroom.
it doesnt mean baby will come. most likely youll end up with massive pain in your stomach. its meant to help you pass a bowell movement. it irritates your intestines, so if you think youre in pain now wait till youve had some caster oil. just make sure you arent planning kn leaving the toilet anytime soon.
Scared to go into labor and have a baby. Who isn't? But it don't change the fact that I want to take it and get baby out cuz I'm in so much pain.
If youve done your research then why are you scared? Cant stress how true it is that baby will come when its ready, dont force things and stress your body and baby
Don't do it it can harm your baby, do the natural ways. Sex, walking, nipple simulation. But no castor oil. What worked for someone could lead to a different case for you. I'm 36 weeks and cant stand the pains either but i wouldnt risk harming my baby.
I tried it at 39 weeks with my first n it didn't work forme
37 weeks. My baby is big and healthy and doctor says baby can come out at any time and I can start using any remedies I want to get him out.
