to all the first time moms my labor story
So I went to a doctor's appointment for the second time this week just to check my blood pressure. It was high so they sent me to triage to be monitored. I actually turned 37 weeks today actually. So when I got to triage at 11 they monitored me and took blood and fluids. The doctor came at 12:30 told me he feels it be best to go ahead and induce me but with an early epidural cause I could not stand the vaginal checks. So around 2 my fluid ended and at 2:30 they started my epidural and and at 3 the pitocin. After I felt nothing but at six I was in so much pain. I felt no pain on one side and all pain in my butt and left side. At 5:45 I was 5 cm and at 6:35 I was ready to push. I had him at 6:43 he came weighting 5 pounds and 6 oz. I feel like it was so quick because I was already pushing lol.
