well i was on the depo for 6 months and i got off and its been 5 months and im trying to get pregant and i cant wdhy?? ive had my period plenty of times i take tests and they come up both neg and post. can someone help me please. my dr wont give me a blood test cause he thinks im not needing one. ive gained weight my boobs hurt theyve gotten bigger and theni get sick and cant wear my pants and so on so please anyone

Depo provera is notorious for causing fertility issues. Even if you get your period, it can take up to a year after getting off depo to get pregnant.

Are you late for your period?   if you are and the home tests are still negative, wait another week and test again, and if it's still negative then go ask your doctor AGAIN for a blood test because your period is very late and the urine tests are coming up negative. Since you already had your period after getting off Depo then the doctor can't say it's just due to depo., and if he/she says no then find another doctor.

You need to first be sure your ovulating in order to conceive so if you are able to find out for sure if your pregnant or not now then you should start taking ovulation predictor tests or OPK's to figure out when your ovulating. :)
