ttc after removal of mirena iud

Question

Hi everyone, I had my mirena iud removed on July 11 2012, I started spotting a lil bit after removal, but it got heavier each day at 1st it was all day and now has basically stops during the day but when I get up in morings theres blood but then nothing. Can this be my 1st actual period after removal? I want to get pregnant asap and as close to full ovulation as possible to increase my chances of a boy, since I have had the mirena for over a year I have no clue what my cycles are like, I'm pretty sure i was ovulating july 4-7 i had tender breast, very moody, lower pain in my tummy, and back, plus was running a light fever and felt nausea, I though that I was pregnant with the iud so I took a test but it was negitive so I then just decided to get it removed and try to conceive. Is it safe to say that this is my period and that i should tart ovulation around next thursday? I have a feritly focus mircoscope to test ovulation and so far for the past week it has shown no signs of ovulation. I hope i can conceive right away! I'm so excited icant stand it i wish my body would just hurry up!!!! :)

I did not become pregnant for 8 Mons after removal. I did have mine for a little over 5 years though with no peorids while it was in. My cycles were a little off for a few months. Now I am 21 weeks with my little girl....

I conceived the day I removed mine I'm16wks now after having it 5years good luc

I conceived the next month after mine was removed and iheart had it for 3 years but I had my period the whole time.

It took me 4 months after mine got removed to get pregnant. It seemed like forever and my fiancee thought he was sterile so when we finally got back a positive test it was an amazing feeling. All i say is give your body time to heal and Get back on track it takes a while so don't be disappointed when you don't get pregnant right away.

It took me 3 months to concieve after removal, that probably sounds like a lifetime for you! I had lots of pregnancy symptoms each month but it always turned out to be nothing until the month I didnt test until I was sure I was late!Good luck, I'm sure it will happen soon :)
