tums not working

I chewed a tums and it's not helping AT ALL! I'm so miserable.. I just want this heartburn gone so I can go back to sleep. Please help?

Rennie is sooo much better for heartburn! And it has a mint flavor, you should try it :) i have been using rennie all this pregnancy and it have helped me alot and i am almost 38 weeks :)

A glass of milk works for me and I have really bad heartburn! Good luck:)

Zantac is safe. Prescribed by my doctor. My heart burn has gotten so bad I had to leave work because I was in so much pain. I tried tums but it didnt help at all.

Tums never worked for me either. Try sucking on a lemon, or drink a glass of milk

Ask your doctor about something. Mine told me about an over the counter med that was safe but i ended up surviving off tums. Nothing else ever worked for me. Alot of people say really cold water helps or pepto, but i didnt see a difference with these. Good luck
