twin skin:/ help...

Question

Okay well to start off i'm 19 years old and just had my identical twin girls 35 days ago (emergency c section at 34w6d due to an extreme case of preeclampsia) the last few days of my of my pregnancy I was gaining nearly 10 pounds a day! My pre prego weight was 135 and I got all the way up to 206. Now im down to 155 which makes me feel great! I hope to get to 125. everyone tells me that I look amazing and all that junk. But truthfully I don't look amazing, my body looks like its been through a war zone. I hate my body, I hate my skin. I feel ruined. My stomach is so scary looking I can hardly look at it, but yet its all I think about. I was prepared for the stretch marks. I had no idea that my skin would sag... I really think I need to talk to someone that knows what i'm going through, someone who has ” twin skin”. I truly am getting more and more depressed about this as the days go by. I feel so alone, like no one understands.

my belly looked like that after one baby it still does i learned to accept it and maybe layer when im done with having kids ill get a tummy tuck YOUR NOT ALONE I FEEL UR PAIN:-( IM PREGNANT AGAINand hopefully it doesnt get worse

Pm me! I have twin skin! I has my identical boys at 18.. Most went back to place except near the the very bottom its wrinkly and icky cause I stretched so much the elasticity tore.

I'm so sorry you feel so down about your belly. I'm 33 weeks prego with identical twin girls as well and have gained about 40 pounds so far, i started out 20 pounds overweight :/ I'm scared of what  my stomach will look like after. You do need to realize though it took nine months for your skin to stretch that big and you are only a month postpartum. Try a wrap/girdle, I know many moms who swear by them.

I've never experienced this because I am pregnant with my first, not twins, but I have seen a postpartum belt you can get to help your tummy go back to normal, not sure if it works but its worth a shot!

I am sorry you are feeling so down,have you seen your doctor about it?If it was me and i was feeling really down i would speak to my doctor.
Random question but how were your babies when they were born at 34weeks?I am 33weeks and i have been told they are inducing me at 37weeks but it might end up having to be before.
