I would definitely at least get two separate places to put the babies while sleeping. I had a friend that had twins and she put them both in the same crib, one ended up dying of SIDS (and they suspect it was from sharing a crib). Maybe two pack n plays, so it's about the cost of one crib? You can also do consignment stores and stuff for the bigger items!

Congrats hun! And yes Im jealous lol. Ive wanted twins from the start. But Im only having one. As for double everything, Id get at least two cribs. But not two of everything else unless you need them.

Honestly I dnt think u have 2. I'm a twin and my mom didn't buy 2 of Everythin. Although she did put us in a few outfits that matched. We had 1 crib, she wuld Jus sepirate us with a rolled up blanket in between. But I pretty much had my own stuff nd my brother had his own. Hope this helps :) nd congrats!!

Congrats!! I found out at 18 weeks I was having identical twin girls. I am now 24 weeks. I recommend you go to www.twinstuff.com, tons of information and on their expecting forum they have a sticky with all the stuff nessacery for twins. Start out with one swing and bouncer and see if they both like them before you buy two. I bought two cribs but I plan on having them sleep in the same crib for the first few months.

Thank you all! Yeah I was just wondering because everyone was telling me to get two of everything in case they both wanted it at the same time...I guess I was more worried about number of cribs n play pens things that they would definitely use at the same time...

Congrats! I'm having twins too, don't know what they are yet.  Friends of mine that have had twins say not to buy two of everything except cars seats and a double stroller....

Congratulations! What a blessing :) i'd say you'll need mostly double everything, good thing is you can get one double stroller, 1 pack and play one baby bath tub, one baby monitor if they share a room... but other than that you're probably definitely going to need double of everything..

Oh wow! Congrats! That must be exciting and overwhelming. I would think that you'd for sure need 2 carseats, bouncers, swings and a double stroller off the top of my head. In the very beginning I would imagine they could share a crib for awhile, they may sleep better that way since they will be so used to being next to each other. Good luck with your 2 angels!

Congratulations!!! I'd say you need double of most important things, like crib, bouncers, swings, etc, in case they both want to be in the same thing at once, or you find the same thing works for both of them
