My friend died giving birth 3 yrs ago they brought her back but she lost her twins her spleen bleed out :( it does happen.
I think it is a fair enough question. Like said in other comments it is usually infections that have gone unnoticed. In developed countries it is very rare.
Honestly I thought about asking the question too. But I can see why/how it would happen. But in this day/age with technology...it's very rare.
Hardly anyone dies now from birth. In the age where c sections are readily availiable if something goes wrong . It's not like how it use to be where vaginal was the only option and if the baby got stuck or your uterus ruptured or something that that would be the end of it. Also now we have so much medicine that's availiable to us that fights infections and whatnot. So it's only in extreme cases will a mother or baby die ( and remain dead)from actual childbirth. It's really nothing to worry about or think to much about because your just putting negative vibes into your body and baby
Oh damn. I have 12 days left but my curious self had to look at this post ( /.\)
Now I'm here thinking I hope I don't die
She said literally nothing about dieing if you have a home birth. She said if she's that scared don't have one and just do it at the hospital. Idk how that can even be construed as if you have birth at home you'll die or how she said anything about the issue lol
If you have a homebirth you will not die! Please if you don't know anything about a homebirth you truly shouldn't say anything about it.
This is all really depressing.
There are so many reason. I have a friend who's heart stopped while in labor and she had preeclampsia. In today age it doesn't happen as often but if you are really scared make sure you don't have a home birth better be safe than sorry deliver in a hospital
Very rare when women died from birth but there was a period called twilight birth where they would put a sack over a women's head while she was in labor and strap her down to a bed and leave her there till she gave birth so she was laying in her own bodily fluids (urine, fecal matter) so women would die from infection. But that was the main reason was INFECTION. And sometimes baby would get stuck in birth canal but that goes with the statistics of having an epidural.
Oh wow . well I'm glad your fine and god was there (:
It happens for different reasons. Me and my first baby almost died during child birth. The second ob I had switched to had no idea my baby was a macro somnia risk meaning I'd have a big baby. They didn't tell them because they were negligent and it wasn't the first time the first ob had neglected us or done something harmful to our health. So when I went to deliver they didn't know until I was pushing. As a result I began to hemmorage and pass out and my baby suffocating. Finally after trying everything and having a fourth degree tear& breaking my sons collarbone they got him out and by God's grace we both survived. Now with baby #2 and any baby after we have to have a c section
The baby gives them tons of complications during their pregnancy. It rarely happens.
And she has the right to ask whatever.
Agreed...i get asking a question but geeze
Tons of reasons but terrible question to ask a ton of hormonal pregnant woman who will give birth soon...
