Same thing happened to me. I was only about 15 weeks or less and I had just started my job and she knew form the start. Anyway she started hiring new people and then shed send me texts saying not to come into work. And then makes excuses as to why I shouldn't.. She ended up saying I wasn't needed anymore (but still employed?) I was supposed to get full time and benefits and that didn't happen. I filed for unemployment and of course I didn't get Much since I hadn't been with them.that long so it was pulling from my previous minimum wage job! I just said forget it and moved back home.
Every state has a civil rights department you can call and they can advise you on this, even put you in touch with a free or affordable lawyer. That is wrong. And if he straight up said its because you're pregnant, then he is liable for a lawsuit against not only him but the company you work for. I had the same issue with my job. They tried to tell me after 12 weeks of unpaid leave I won't have a job, they can't do that. Under the pregnancy laws of my state, I'm entitled to as much leave as I need and to come back to the same pay as before. As long as you're able to perform your job as well as before you were pregnant and your performance on the job hasn't changed, he has no right to cut hours for that reason alone.
