So when I went to see my child to check for downs and I was very excited and he/she is getting so big :) but when she took the pics they were horrible!!!!! There is only 5 pics and 4 of them were of their head and one of the whole body like Idk if it's My hormones but I wanted other pics besides the head lol maybe I'm being picky?

My second baby I did an anatomy scan which would take 1 hour and 30 minutes. Ended up in a 3 hour scan and they told my bladder needed to be full so I had to pee really bad when I got there but I couldn't empty it. She made me sit on the table for 2 HOURS before I could empty my bladder I was in excruciating pain on top of her pressing really hard on my stomach and she didn't even get to finish it. She couldn't get any pictures. I saw her take good profile pictures too but she sent me home with a picture of the size of my baby's head. I told my midwife about it and she said she will not be going through them anymore because my experience wasn't the only bad one.

Ya sorry that test is only looking at the head - it's not for getting good pics. Just wait, soon enough!

Lol it was funny because the last picture she took the baby had their hands above there head laying down lol it was so funny haha hopefully I get good pics when I find out what I'm having next month

That's all they look at when checking the baby for down syndrome maybe at your next appointment you'll get better ones

Sometimes they just can't get a good picture. I know that I never once saw my babies face till today actually lol and I'm 38 weeks and I've been getting ultrasounds every 2 weeks because of problems with my pregnancy. I'm sure you'll get good pictures eventually but remember there first job is just to make sure the baby is completely okay :)
