if I'm still pregnant by my due date, will my labor be induced?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant with a babygirl. My due date is October 27th. I've only gained 10.6lbs my entire pregnancy. My husband & I really want to know if I reach my due date, how long will I need to wait until my water breaks itself or how far will I need to wait until my doctor breaks it herself, days? Weeks? ... just need advice and/or some point of view on this subject.

Your ob will let 2 weeks go by , and then induce you, with my first I had high blood pressure at 40 weeks and 1 day, so I gothink induced right away .

If u dont go into labor yourself doctors dont let u go over 41 or 42 weeks they will induce
