uti vs kidney infection

I went to the dr tuesday for my monthly checkup and had her test for a uti bc ive had a lot of pressure to pee, like ill go pee wont even get off the toilet and i feel like i have to pee again. She said it came back negative my question is if i have a kidney infection(ive been have lower back pain) would it be negative for a uti?

I actually Have a kidney infection . Im 20 weeks the pain is terrible . Yes, i was tested positive for uti. The dr gave me 2 antibiotics until Im due. Hope you dont have to go thru what im going thru.
