virginia+maybe 7 weeks pregnant+ smoking weed= child be taken away?

Well I havent had a period since april 30th, it never hit me until recently. I have been dealing with alot of family and personal problems and I think stress might be a factor. But me not being the type who has late periods from stress especially this long. maybe there might be a problem, well besides from that im not from virginia and i live with my fiance' and im not sure of the laws. all my friends that live here dont have children yet so they are no help. Does Va take your baby if you smoked weed? like do they test and find it and just up and take the baby? or do they tell you or what happens? this would be my first pregnany, but i dont want to stop smoking until i know for sure though that where my problem comes in at. because it could be stress and maybe i didnt ovulate for awhile and no period. symptoms i have/ had; hot flashes, needing more sleep, not much of a appetite change, frequent urination, mood swings, bloated belly under navel( sometimes its hard and bloated uncomfy like, other times its normal, mainly after i eat), my breast are swollen( tender for like a week in a half after my last period and disappeared right before my next cycle was supposed to come but didnt), pain during sex( when my fiance is on top of me i feel like bloated uncomfy fullness feeling), cramping feeling like im going to start bleeding but no blood, sometimes in the middle but alot on the left side. no real craving, no vomiting, only nausea when i am really thristy which i am all the time now. my nipples started off going dark but then turned lighter in color instead? well sorry for extra stuff just not sure if i should be worried that i could be pregnant and im waiting until july to see my doctor. just freaking out not sure if those are common symptoms in order to try to clean my system, or should i wait it out. does anyone know how Va laws work and how did they handle the situation?

Like I said, google does not constitute as reliable research, I'm sorry and it's legal in many states for personal consumption, once again please do some research. I have done extensive research on the product as my severely ill younger cousin uses it to control her seizures and I've been in the middle of the research first hand as doctors have discovered it's multitude of beneficial uses for medicine and personal consumption, street and medical grade. Providing its not laced as stated above, but I have never come across any street laced weed, it's more expensive to lace weed so it seems pointless for someone to do that lol

Well infants with mothers who smoked marijuana while pregnant have been shown to need after birth care for symptoms of withdrawal, and non-normal behavioral issues. No matter what, even the risk of it being true is not worth it. I smoked up until I found out I was pregnant, I do not have a problem with it.

My doctor was really okay with it when I was open enough to tell her, and she explained to me the side effects, and the possible risk. I have also done a lot of research on the matter since I found out I was pregnant at 17 weeks, and I was really concerned at what I could have done to him. Ask your doctor about it, they will not often turn you in if you tell them you are attempting on quitting.

On the streets it is often laced with things to gives a better effect or go further. It's been known to be laced with coke and I've even heard of ebauming fluid. Also any smoke effects the baby. Decreased oxygen deprives their oxygen suply.

I am not giving a biased opinion. I have done plenty of research and the evidence doesn't show it's super harmful but also doesn't show it's safe. It's inconclusive. Also medicinal marijuana has been altered to contain less THC. I am a very educated woman so I am just saying what I know. Also it doesn't matter if its harmful or not because its illegal. That should be reason enough to stop and because of that this post will most likely be removed.

Derived from the same base, it's not like one is made from coke and one from meth, they're both composed of the same basic chemical makeup, one is just more concentrated then the other. Seriously, just look into it, no point to argue with me when you clearly haven't done your research and your going off what you've heard others say and off your biased opinion. I believe the woman who posted this deserves a true, science based, completely backed response, not one of bias opinion.

All your symptoms lead to pregnancy.  I would go get test done and go book an appt. My ob saw me at 8wks. I don't recommend smoking while pregos either bc you dont want to risk your baby's health or chance of it being taken away
