vision changes??

Has anyone had changes in vision since being pregnant? I JUST had an eye exam like 2 wks before i got pregnant got my new glasses and such, prescription was totally different than my last. I use to be able to see fine w/out my glasses. Now i struggle to walk w/out them. I know it is also affected by the new prescription, but it shouldnt be affected this much. I know i need to go back and see my eye dr, and i do plan to, just curious if anyone else has had issues with their vision changing. And yes, i do wear my glasses constantly so i can see! ;) lol

Ha my mil had to get glasses while pregnant with my hubby. Never needed them before or since, even with get next pregnancy! I home with him that it's good own fault for being color blind since he made his mom go half blind during her pregnancy and his mom was the carrier for his color blindness! I know, I'm so mean. ;)

Mine changed too! The doctor said something about something in the eye swelling during pregnancy and its common/normal. Wish I could remember exactly what he said swells up!

I didn't have to wear my glasses at all before I was pregnant with my first son and while pregnant with him my eyes got to the point I couldn't see across the room without my glasses!

Now I'm pregnant again and have been wearing glasses for about 3 years and my eyes are still just as bad as they were, sometimes worse!! I hate glasses but contacts is too much of a hassle for me so I'm stuck dealing with glasses for the rest of my life! Lol
Which is expected since all of my dad's generations of family had horrible vision!

I work for an eye doctor.  It is very normal to have vision changes during pregnancy. It isn't worth going back and changing your prescription again unless it is seriously bothering you because it is too likely to keep changing or go back to normal after pregnancy. I'm due for an eye exam and glasses right now, but I am waiting until like a month after the baby gets here so my vision will settle.

I have actually avoided going to the eye doctor during my pregnancy because your vision really does change so much that it would be pointless to get them examined right now. Don't worru it is perfectly normal.
