That feeling was so intense! How did your families react? And how did you tell them?

This pregnancy (#3) we waited and told them with t-shirts I made for the kids, the youngest said big sister and oldest said biggest sister. My second we just told them and a regular get together. My first (9yrs ago) it took me a few weeks to tell my mom, I was only a junior in high school and I just waited til we were alone and blurted it out...she didnt take it so well, but was there for me no matter what I decided.

Almost everybody in mine and my boyfriend's family were overjoyed! The only person who wasn't happy was one of my older brothers, who told me to get an abortion. I no longer speak to him, as I'm 21 and I am a grown woman! He did the same to my little sister when she fell pregnant at 15 - he and his 7-month-pregnant girlfriend dragged her to the clinic and forced her to terminate. She's now almost 20 and is pregnant again - she isn't telling him she's pregnant this time but she can't wait for him to hear it off someone else lol

There's always one mornjy bugger :)

My family is really excited and pulling for a girl (only because my father has 7 grandsons from my 3 brothers). On the other hand, I'm waiting to tell my boyfriends family because I'm still very early and don't think we should bring it up till 2nd trimester lol. Can't wait to see there reaction..

My husband was out of state when I took 10 pregnancy tests and they were all positive and I hung them up on our Christmas tree on a string in the front where no one would miss it. He was extremely happy but his dad was too drunk to notice so we had to point it out but everyone was extremely happy for us. We celebrated by having all of our family over for a Christmas party and thats when we told everyone else :) we had been trying for 2 years so it was very exciting for us. 25 weeks now and so happy we will be having a lil boy :)

Everyone in my family was very excited. :) most of my bf's family was happy for us too. Apart from his older brother. He and his wife are expecting at the exact same time with her due date 3 week's before mine. I guess they think we've stolen the spotlight or something. Since their baby was planned and ours wasn't. And our baby will be the first grandchild and great-grandchild on my side, and my partner is the youngest in his family so a massive deal for us to be expecting. 19w now and still don't think his brother is over it but I'm past caring. Our baby will be loved and that is all that matters
