Unfortunately not. I'm sorry hon. There's a lot of possible risks that aren't worth it. One is it could cause the placenta to detach
wow i would have said yeah it would be ok. but didn't know the placenta could detach. i went to universal studios at 30 Weeks and got on animated movie rides, thank God baby is ok.
Honestly, I'm probably going to get a tonnn of crap for this, but I went to water safari last week, 15w, and they told me the manager said they'll let you on any water slides you want, but NOT dry rides, I went on one (and was so absolutely terrified that I'll never go on it again, hahah!) but it was a family friendly one, 36 inches (a 3 year old's size) could go on it, no belly contact, and no jerking around, just purely being terrified, and I'm just fine, they said whatever you're comfortable with is fine. Ask your doctor though!
Ask your doctor. Don't trust everything you read on here. I don't see how riding down a slide could cause the placenta to detach. You can do all kinds of things while you're pregnant, especially so early.
I also know most things dangerous will say not safe during pregnancy, etc, and NONE of the water slides there (except the insane, straight drop, high up, lots of jerking around) said that, you can use your better judgement, chances are if it's safe for a 3 year old, it's safe for an expecting mother, just nothing bumpy, or jerking, definitely.
.thanks so much for the advice.! I :go back to the doctor in 2 weeks so i will make sure to ask her.!
