weight gain!!!

Ladies the nurse practicioner said I need to gain weight I'm at 110 and can't seem to get passed that.! This is the only problem I've come across up to now. I'm worried about not gaining the weight I need to. I'm 28+2.

Hate it when they say silly things like this, everyone is different and shouldn't be expected to gain this certain amount of wait!! They do the same with me im only small and havnt gained much weight with all 3 pregnancy's I'm 32 weeks with my third and again my midwife wants me to go to growth scans coz im not big enough. Don't worry what they say though if your eating well and baby is ok!!

Everytime I have been seen I've been told I'm measuring fine, i feel my baby move everyday, I've had 3 ultrasound and have never received any negative information they have said baby is great. Just this last app. she said I needed to gain, and I'm not trying to not gain, Ive actually been a little stressed about this whole weight thing I'm trying to just chill I weighed 120lbs before I got pregnant I'm at 110lbs now. I do feel better knowing what your doc has said. Thank you.

Women will gain what they need during pregnancy, I don't get why they comment on ANYTHING if the baby is growing healthy, and good. Is your baby measuring behind? Via ultrasounds or fundal height? Is he/she moving good? H/B good? Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. It's not fair just to say "gain weight" if you're eating properly, and your baby is growing fine. My OB has told me a LOT of women lose weight during pregnancy, and a lot don't gain anything at all, I wouldn't stress about it.
