weird rash..what is this?

im almost 2 weeks postpartum and im covered in a weird rash...it LOOKS like a heat rash, but i don't think it is because it's every area of my legs and on my forearms stomach back and hips....its not just in crevices or on the back of my knees. its not very itchy, the only part that really itches a little is where it is the worst, on the top of my stomach..anyone else experienced this or know what it could be? i have no health insurance other than medicaid..which only covers postpartum things..not rashes. so im not really sure what to do. it's pretty gross looking so i am really wanting it to go away soon.

I treat my hives with benedryl sometimes I get them when I am stressed out too (I am just a sensitive person...lol)it's some chemical reaction that goes on in your body.  Maybe just the adjustment of the new baby?  I would give it a try if you can, but it makes you sleepy so I would try one at a time.  Good luck

Maybe you are just having an allergic reaction to something.  Have you taken any new types of pills or used a different laundry detergent?  New lotion, skin products, soaps, fabric softeners?  I would for sure try to take a dose of benedryl if it is allergic it will start to ease up a little and you know it was something allergy related.  I get hives all over from different types of fabric softeners (not sure if benedryl is safe to take while breastfeeding if you are?).

i had a rash appear all over my body a couple of years ago. it was everywhere but my hands, ,feets, neck and face. it was called pityriasis rosea. it starts with a larger spot and spreads everywhere but the places i named. it was like little red bumps everywhere that eventually all peel away. its completely harmless just ugly! i went to the dermatologist who diagnosed it and told me to go tanning, and it went away quickly after that. I obviously dont know if this is what you have, i think mine was itchy.
