What are some things that you did after you've had an cesarean? How did you care for your belly? , & how did you get your tummy to go down?

Aww , my baby is due Jan. 21st & i'm super excited(: I gave my daughter & this unborn child the space that they needed in age . But, for some reason when other people explain things to me it's like they go a bit OVERBOARD!

Yeah, I had a really good experience last time. Definitely wasn't as scary as some people had made it out to be to me. I'm having another one in December and looking forward to it!

Thank you so much(: that was very helpful . With my last daughter caring for my wound wasn't so bad , I was up and moving around the hospital in no time .

I went for tiny little walks as soon as possible to get the muscles working again. I didn't need to do anything to look after the wound at first because it was bandaged but I did hold a pillow against my stomach when I laughed or coughed.  I also put a pillow on my lap to feed baby. When bandage came off I got my husband to do it while I lay down and got him to use baby oil to loosen the bandage as he went. Then when I showered I would just let the water run over it at first then gently dabbed it dry with a towel before letting it air dry (my mum suggested a hair dryer but I found it unnecessary). My tummy went down a lot naturally after birth then I wore the support bandage the hospital gave me for ages before wearing support underwear. Hope that gives you some ideas to see what works for you. Good luck!
