I was doing research on due dates and when women usually give birth in comparison to their due dates and over 25% of women, including ftm, were early. But it really just depends on your body.

I had my first son at 39 weeks 1 day. I'm due November 11th, and I'm getting anxious because I wish I knew exactly what day so I can start working towards that instead of an estimation. I'm terrified the one day i go for an appointment, I'm gonna be 4cm dilated and admitted to the hospital and the house a wreck!

First babies are usually overdue bc your body hasn't had a baby before. Although this isn't always the case, it's hard to tell because even if you are dilated when they check you it doesn't mean much.

They say ftm are usually overdue before going early.  However I went into labor at 37 weeks with my first and they stopped it and then a week later my water broke so it can happen!!  You never know.

i think first time moms are more likely to go over due but really everyone is different and there isnt a way of knowing when it will happen ever... even moms that were dialated early can take a long time to go into labor... and as far as BH contractions go everyone has them, they start around 6 weeks and continue through the pregnancy so they cant really tell you much either... jsut a waiting game! you getting close to the end tho! congrats :)

i haven't been checked yet :/ i went for my 34 week appointment on Monday and my doctor took my measurements and the baby's heartbeat but that's it. i get BH contractions from time to time but i don't believe they are real contractions. I'm sure at my 36 week appointment ill get checked.

Has your doctor started to see if you were dilated or have you had any real contractions?
