So my sister gets released today and I get booked in. They're worried about low birth weight. Has anyone been admitted for low birth weight? I'm 30 weeks, she's measuring 2lbs 13oz

This app says babies at 30 weeks weigh about 3 lbs which she isn't far from I'm just not understanding any of this. I wish they were more specific hopefully the high risk Dr can shed some more light on this situation

My Dr said worst case scenario I stay still baby is born :( that would be awful I haven't been here 12 hours and I'm already miserable. Just wanna sleep but they got an iv stuck in my wrist a bp monitor, baby heartbeat monitor, contraction monitor, and these things on my legs that squeeze them constantly like the bp monitor. How do they expect people to sleep like this??

i know how you feel!! its so hard to sleep in a hospital! i was admitted for 2 days at 26 weeks. it was so boring i cried the whole time!! could your due date possibly be off? the weight does not sound that bad to me for 30 weeks some babies are just small.

Yes my belly measures small as well. I'm not sure about the grade they haven't said anything like that to me.. I see high risk Dr tomorrow hopefully I know more of wtf is going on. I just wanna go home its so uncomfortable here :(

let me rephrase. i have had a grade 3 placenta since 32 weeks and grade 3 means full term or 40 weeks. which is too soon for it to be grade 3 already

at 28 weeks my baby weighed 2lbs 10oz at 32 w she weighed 3lbs 15 oz every baby weighs different and those scans can be up to 8 oz less or 8 oz more. is your belly measuring small too?  i have a grade 3 placenta and it could stop sending her nutrients and make her stop growing. did they say anything about your placenta?
