Birth story!

Went in on July 21st to get my water broken as I was already 3cm dilated and 60 percent effaced. Had been having contractions all morning but nothing painful. Dr came in around 10am to break water, and as soon as that happened the contractions started to pick up and became more intense. Around 130 I was at a 6 and the nurse called the anestisiologist to come give me the epi, well he was busy with or and er so two hours later when he did show up I was already almost ready to push. I wanted a 'quick and easy' so the nurse sat me up for it but the dr came and had me lay back down to get checked and he said I could start pushing. So I did and after about half an hour another lady in labor was going to the o.r so my dr had to leave, so he told me to only push to relieve the urge. So I waited about 20mins to a half an hour. Then pushed for another hour and he was here! His right hand was coming out first so his shoulder caused me to tear to my butthole. Hurts like no other but having him here is the best thing in the world :) going natural wasn't my plan but hey, it worked out. He's 7 pounds 9 ounces and 19.5 inches long :) named him Levi Miles.

Thank you ladies! Once when I was in the middle of a contraction I yelled: 'I'm so mad at that anestisiologist!' Lol. It was so hard and I thought I was going to lose it, but the nurses said I did great. You just really gotta find a focus point.

Wow. Im sure thats very painful.  I hope you feel better. Use ice packs down there..
