The best bottle is the one your baby will drink from - which differs from person to person. I used Medela bottles for pumped milk with my son and never had any problems with it. But the best way to improve your nipple soreness is to keep nursing. When you're done with a feeding express a bit more milk, spread it across both nipples and areolae, and let it air dry - milk is much better for your nipples than any cream on the market (though it may help to try a lanolin cream or ointment to help a bit as well). Spend as much time without a top on as possible. Make sure baby is getting a nice deep latch - as much of the breast as possible into baby's mouth and not just the nipple itself. Check in with a lactation consultant to check your latch and help with any other questions you have. Don't give up. The first month is the hardest - once you get past it you'll be golden. It gets so much easier. I promise. Good luck!!
