car seats or cribs. their constantly recalling those products. especially older models.
Anything that is over 2 years old or anything that has been recalled shouldn't be used at all, socks, bottles, pacifiers should always be new
The only thing I will use over two years old is the bassinet that had been in my family since my great grandma was a baby. She's turning 92 years old this year.
Bottles & diapers lol everything else is fine. Unless u have a pink stroller but you're having a boy!
And everyone in my family has used it.
Car seats, cribs, mattress and if you plan on breastfeeding a new breast pump. I always see people trying to sell a used one and I think its soo nasty. Even if you have it cleaned I still think its gross.
I'm having a girl and it just so happens everyone who wants to give me there old stuff had baby girls.
I honestly don't see the need to buy new stuff when u already have things in good condition. If they didn't fail you with your first baby, how will they fail you this time? As far as breastpumps, its your milk. Breastmilk is sterile, so y exchange a working pump that ur gonna use on Your baby? I would clean everything thoroughly, and buy new nipples for your bottles, that come with the pump.
I had my first baby in 2011 a girl. My second was girl in 2012. They used hand me downs on most things but not all. My third, hopefully is a boy. But I have neutral car seat, stroller, bassinet... so, the big things I'm good on.
Crib mattress for sure. You never know what was used around it (smoking, etc) or if pets played on or around it or something.
Definitely Crib Mattress And Of You Have A Changing Table A New Changing Table mattress
