Don't worry they will do everything they can for your baby. My nephew was born with a heart defect, he was missing a heart chamber. He had 2 open heart surgeries before his first birthday, but now he is a happy and healthy 6 year old. The doctors told his mom he probably wouldn't make it. But if he can survive his heart defect so can your baby. If your religious pray about it, gods always listening.
My son has the same thing in his pulmonary valve. We didn't find it til he was 3 months and I was worried sick like you. Two of his leaflets are fused together so that's why he has 2 instead of 3. He was seen every year until he turned 4 and now won't be seen until 7. He is a healthy almost 5 year old that's runs and plays and they have cleared him to play football and whatever else he wants to do. They thought if it got worse he would need surgery but it never got worse, just stayed the same. He has Acute Pulmonary Stenosis. Good luck momma... hope everything turns out good.
My daughter has a heart defect too. She has dextracardia. Its where your heart is on wrong side of the body. Theres different kinds and levels. She has the kind that isnt life threatening and they say shell be able to live a normal life IF she is still the way she is after birth cuz shell have to be immediately inspected. Its scary cuz you never know if shes gonna need surgery or have life long problems. Heart problems dont run in mine or hubbys family. This case is rare but it does happen and theres nothing that causes or prevents it. Were naming her faith cuz you gotta have faith =)
Don't prepare for the worst just know Gods in contro.Of all things. He will see your daughter's needs are met. Don't stress yourself continue to take care of you and the baby. Take one day at a time February is right around the corner. In the meantime pray about it you will be fine.
