what is colostrum

I've been reading about it but just wondering what it is n what I can/should expect from my breasts at this point... I'm 20 weeks preggy now ....

The liquid that comes out before your breast milk comes in. Its packed full of great stuff for baby.

^ yes. Your milk doesn't come in for like 3 days after baby is born. Colostrum gives the baby antibodies right after its born so it wont get sick.

If your 20 weeks you are already making colostrum. It can be either a little yellow or white and usually thicker then Your  milk but not always. It really depends.  But its there and really good for baby. Some women leak,  but I'm 32 weeks and I have not. You might though.

Mine colostrum came in when I was about 26-27 weeks mine is yellow and sometimes clear..I leak a whole lot more now that I'm close to my due date

Actually i started leaking out of my breast 4weeks begore my son was born, everyone is different but if you plan the breast feed colostrum is whats comes the first couple times you feed. Its like uour babys own natural vaccines.  Its really good if you can handle the breast feeding its really those first couple times that really count then you can tjink about switching to formula.
