Thank you all..fr d info..m just sharing it wd hubby :)
I wouldn't say the meds are totally safe. I had a cousin who had to have an emergency c-section once she got the epidural and doctors told her they were 90% sure it was because of the the epidural since the baby was 100% healthy before that. Also I know of two people who had an emergency c-section after getting pitocin from the babys heartbeat dropping dramatically from it. In my opinion no med/meds are "totally safe" just my opinion/experience! Not to worry you or anything most of the time everything works out just fine! Oh and like said before me induced is when doctor's give you pitocin so help start labor!
Everyone is different and depends on a number of factors.
Okk...n how much time do we actually need to gt normal aftr a normal delivery ??
Yes, the pain killers they use for birthing r totally safe.
N all dose pain killers are safe ??
I didn't have horrible pain when I was induced, cuz I also had pain drugs on board. It doesn't have to be horrible.
Thanks :) now I know. .n I hope it happens naturally to me..coz m already scared !!
It's when they give you a drug to help get your labor
Started. Most people say being induced hurts more than labor starting on its own. My labor got growing on its own but after 12 hrs the Dr said since my contractions weren't strong enough I needed to be induced. I was put on pitocin, an inducing drug, andlet m tell you that was the most disgusting pain I ever had.
I'm not sure if a Dr breaking your waters might be considered induction as well.
It's when they give you medication to start contractions and break your water (although sometimes they just start contractions and let your water break on its own) I had to be induce with my first two because of medical issues.
