How did yall entertain yourselves during labor?

I've heard labor can last a long time, and I'm wondering for those who got an epidural, what did yall do to pass the time? I'm trying to figure out what I want to take with me to the hospital. I've got all the essentials packed already.

With my first I visited mostly since I had a ton of family there. I also watched TV until the pains got so bad I had to get my epidural, then I slept as much as I could. (I have no tolerance for morphiene anyway, always puts me out.)

I watched tv and tried to sleep. This time I think im taking a book and cards along.

I had a deck of cards, my cell phone, and my iPad. Typically hospitals have free wifi so you can download/play games, get on social feeds, etc. And then of course sleep is always good too. If you like to read then a book is always good. If you have Netflix you can download it on your tablet or smartphone and watch a movie. I mean there is a ton of stuff you can do.
