Thank you ladies! I guess ill start with some wipez and what not
Yeah i agree , ive bought most of the big stuff and my baby shower is next month , i dont want to ask people for the big stuff either .
Yea I gotta agree on the diapers and wipes. I started buying those at like 12wks and then for my baby shower I told people of they bring diapers what sizes I needed. And now I have enough diapers to last until size 5. I also stalked up on pads cause no matter if u have a vaginal deliver or c section u will need them
While I was pregnant, i avoided stocking up on diapers. You never know how baby will react to them. Luckily i didn't because my daughter wears parents choice. What a hassle it would have been to return dozens of huggies or pampers. I agree with the wipes though. Those are basic. I did everything a little different than most women. I bought the crib at 16 weeks, a carseat, bedding, swing (all the big and expensive things) before my baby shower. Didn't feel right asking for things that were over $50. You can stock up on diaper rash creams, shampoos, buy a grooming kit, bottles if you're bottle feeding, maybe a baby monitor...i found out the gender at 15 weeks and 5 days so I didn't have to wait long to shop. You could even start buying little toys...rattles, teething rings..stuff to entertain baby. I don't think it'd too early to shop. I started at 9 weeks!
For diapers you buy all sizes , newborn , 1 , 2 , etc . So your baby is bound to fit them . If your baby is premature they have premie diapers . So no matter what there will be a diaper your baby fits .
I was thinking on buying dipers and stuff but what if the dipers dont fit the baby like if it's too big or too small? Idk lol
I would start on diapers and wipes right now. Especially sales that may be going on, take advantage of sales. Baby soaps, lotion, laundry detergent, things like that
I think it is okay to buy stuff, as long as you really need it. This prevents buying a lot at the end and divides the spending of money over a longer period instead of all at once. I am ten weeks now and i have some clothes and drinking mugs (got those for free at a store).
I'd start getting your diaper and wipe stock pile going. Buy a pack of each every week or two and you'll be set for Awhile just make sure they're different sizes. (:
Well you can always get baby clothes especially if its for 3-6 months or 6-9 they need it, but dont get anything big until after your shower.
