Thank u ladies for ur help. Been wondering bout this for a couple weeks and my MIL keeps tellin me its too early n I'm over thinking things. I'm just gettin more n more nervous the closer it gets..only 6 more weeks
No its not too early.
What to pack: An outfit for the hospital pictures if you want your baby to take them. A going home outfit. They supply diapers and wipes at the hospital. They give you a recieving blanket but bring a thicker one. A cap for baby. The going home outfit has to have the separate leg parts and you have to bring socks if it doesnt have the feet part attached to the outfit. For you: A going home outfit, loose would be more comfortable. You can bring your own robe if you want, also a pillow. Toothbrush, your own shampoo and soap, brush and all those other higiene things. They give you hospital socks but you can bring slippers. Some people dont like the hospital underwear so you can bring your own if you want
Its not too early. I suggest a change ofnclothes, nursing pads, nursing bras(if you are planning to nurse) nipple cream, socks, personal hygene kit, some snack and change. Camera, phone and charger, insurance info. Outfit for baby and blanket. I wouldn't worry about diapers, wipes or rash creams since most hospital provide that for baby but you can check when you go on your hospital tour.
You should go ahead and pack it. It's better to just have one ready, you never know when your baby will decide to come. :)
