whats going on?

okay so this journey of mine began a little over 10 years ago I'm 30 now and got pregnant with my first child in 1999 that pregnancy ended at 24 weeks due to preterm labor and delivery and my little girl died at 1lb 1/2 oz:( since then I have had very abnormal menstrual cycles and my partner and I started trying for another baby in early 2004. I was placed on 50 mg of clomid and discontinued after 1 cycle.  I recently resumed fertility treatment in 2008 and last year was placed on 100 mg of clomid and metformin and discontinued after that first cycle due to a loss of medical insurance. I was having regular menstrual cycles from that day forward.  my last mestrual cycle was 08/15/2010 it appeared to be normal and lasted 7 days.  I resumed sexual activity the day I stopped bleeding and several times throught the rest of the month. In September I had no period took 2 ept's and recieved negative results both times, but this month I started experiencing headaches, severe moodines, extreme increase in vaginal discharge, enlarged and sore breast, and a few episodes of nausea, my nails are also growing at a rapid pace and I've been fatigue off and on. Could it be possible to be pregnant and not know it?

If youve had a "physician" tell you that then great!!! But its obviously not too "early" for a test to rule out the pregnancy hormone. Early meaning a few days after due period, but not a month or two. And symptoms.... welcome to wishful thinking i got that every month for ten months thinking i was prego but nope.  Hope you get your positive.... I wasnt being rude, but im not the type of person to get your hope up. I state the basics and what seems possible.

Unfortinatly symptoms alone aren't enough to indicate pregnancy. There are a lot of us who get them every month and then we get our periods. You may have had an anovaltory cycle. That means you didn't ovulate. You may or may not get a period from that. I would test again and see what it says. If you still don't get a period in a week or two then test again. If still negative you can either assume your not pregnant or get a blood test. Hope you get a positive. Sending you baby dust. :)

I've actually had a physician tell me that just because a home pregnancy test says 99% effective doesnt mean it will be if your testing too early and the preg hormone isn't as strong I'm still hopeful! whats Very rare is to be experiencing all the symptoms I am and all at once and not be pregnant. I have plans to visit a doctor sometimes this week I just dont trust over the counter pregnancy tests I didnt confirm my first and last pregnancy until 12 weeks due to false negatives but thanks for the advice anyway!

You should visit with a doctor. Sometimes our minds play tricks on us. I think its VERY rare to get a negative test. After all it is 99% effective, DAY OF missed period.
