what's it like?
When you go to court for child support? What happens? What do they ask you? What do I say? First time going to court at all so I'm nervous
Can I mention his warrants If they don't? I'll make sure to let the judge know all this Info and I'll bring the CPS papers.
Hahahahahaha yes ma'am they absolutely willnotoce that warrant, he may not show for that reason because they will arrest him going in a court room w warrants. If he doesnt show you'll get it all in your favor anyhow, but you should go to court house and file papers for primary residency of your child before the court date, they should subpoena those CPS papers. You should try and get a copy just incase, but those papers def work against him and will help your case. I bet they'll order him anger management and a bunch of r hings he has to do before he sees her, then he wont do them and you wont have to worry. Gotta love deadbeats who dont wanna pay. Pffft.
I do not have a lawyer. He's been to jail for putting his hands on his mother he's been to Texas tropical for anger and prescribe seriquil or however you spell it that I doubt he still takes. He has warrants out right where were going but idk if the judge will see that should I bring his warrants up? We've also had CPS on us twice because of him signed papers that he isn't allowed to take her or be with her or me unsupervised.
Unfortunately if they dont deem him dangerous or unfit they will give him visitations, so you need to make him look as bad as possibly hunnie! These custody things can get veryyy dirty. Make sure you make a big deal of his absence, inconsistency, no monetary support, instability, the fact she doesnt know him, his abusive side and anger issues. Do you have a lawyer hun?
Will it matter if I refuse for him to get visitation rights or will the court still give that to him?
My daughters only been with me since she was born she's 3 now. He never visits her only once a year for her birthday.. We will not agree on anything because of me I refuse to let him see our have her not like he tries any way but I refuse to let him have her at all cause she doesn't know who he is she is not comfortable around him and I do not trust him he is abusive and has needed to be treated for anger problems.
Do you have primary custody? Or do y'all have joint custody? If you and the childs father can't come to a mutual decision, they'll decide and amount based on his income and if you have primary custoy you get more than w joint custody bcuz you have the child more, and then they decide when he will pay and such, and its all court ordered so if he doesnt follow the order you can get him for contempt of court!
