Birth control question...

Hey ladies, its been quite a while since I've been on here.. but things are going okay for the most part.. Christmas was pretty good, very busy, lucas got a lot of good stuff from both sides.  He has been sick lately.. he had developed a double ear infection TWICE,  which i was surprised at how good he was he did not hardly fuss at all.. he also now has a tooth.. he weighs 19lbs now..

My question is.. due to not having insurance when I ran out of my birth control samples I haven't made it to the health department to get anymore.. I've been without it a month or so.. It's been four weeks since I had a  period and I dont' feel like its anywhere in sight... we have been having unprotected sex, he has been using the  "pull out" method which i know is not one hundred percent.. could my period just be a little off from coming off the pill or what do you guys think is going on??

i called to schedule an appointment monday but their nurse practicionar is out all week.. so monday i'll try again to get here.. we had just been having vehicle issues and everything else thats why i hadn't been able to make it in to the health department yet..

I think if you are having unprotected sex then there is obviously a chance you could be pregnant.. Also, going on/off BC as you had mentioned CAN surely mess up your cycles. Can't you go to a clinic (Like Planned Parenthood) or something and have them do a pregnancy test and pending a negative result, prescribe BC at the same time? I know they charge on a sliding scale to make it affordable for people who don't have insurance.
