when did you announced

So I'm 18 weeks and still only my household + mom knows about the baby, when is a good time to announce it and how did you ladies tell everyone?

I told everyone once I was I the "safe zone" meaning til 2nd trimester I wrote it on Facebook with ultrasound pictures (:

your 1st lost . I was thinking of waiting until I know the gender and then get a box full of pink or blue balloons recording it and post it to fb for everyone to see at once

And I didn't wait a second time, I posted it a few minutes after I got the positive.

First pregnancy I called everyone I could think of right after I got the positive. That ended in miscarriage though. This pregnancy I just posted a pic of the test to facebook and tagged everyone I could. Was a lot quicker and easier than calling everyone up.
